Join Our Team as a Direct Care Worker (Residential) - Deliver Person-Centred Care and Support to Residents

Make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality, person-centred care to residents of the Residential Care Home. This role offers the opportunity to work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, develop your skills in aged care, and contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of older adults in the community.

About the Role:

As a Direct Care Worker (Residential), you will assist in providing direct client services to residents, supporting their daily care needs and promoting independence, dignity, and wellbeing. You will work under the direction of the Nurse Unit Manager and in close collaboration with health professionals, ensuring safe, compassionate, and responsive care.

You will be an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team, contributing to the development and implementation of care plans, supporting residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs, and helping to maintain a positive, safe, and welcoming environment for all residents.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
  • Experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
  • Experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
  • Experience in the use of computer packages e.g. Microsoft Word, Excel.
