About the Role

As an Enrolled Nurse within Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre’s Care of the Older Person and Community Transition (COACT) and Sub-Acute Geriatrics teams, you’ll support older adults as they navigate important transitions in their health journey. Working closely with Registered Nurses, you’ll deliver person-centred care and help create a calm, respectful and supportive environment where patients feel safe, seen and valued.

Key Duties

  • Deliver safe, person-centred care under RN guidance
  • Assist with assessments and contribute to individualised care planning
  • Monitor patient progress, recognise changes and escalate when needed
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation
  • Build trusting relationships with patients, families and colleagues
  • Collaborate effectively with health and community partners

About You

You’re a compassionate and confident Enrolled Nurse who combines clinical skill with genuine respect for older adults and their families.

  • Registration (or eligibility) with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Completed approved training for safe medication administration
  • Clear, empathetic communicator with patients, families and teams
  • Able to prioritise care needs and respond to changing conditions
  • Skilled in person-centred practice with sound knowledge of EN standards
