About the Role
Join a dynamic General and Trauma Surgery team delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You’ll manage acute and complex cases, build strong clinical pathways, and support service excellence, while contributing to teaching, mentoring and research in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Duties

• Deliver safe, best practice general and trauma surgery care
• Manage acute surgical and trauma patient care
• Coordinate care plans across multidisciplinary teams
• Collaborate with ED, wards, theatre and support services
• Support undergraduate and postgraduate teaching
• Mentor and guide junior medical staff
• Contribute to research and service improvement
• Engage with referrals from GPs and external providers
• Provide compassionate care to patients and families

About You
You’re a capable and collaborative surgeon ready to deliver high-quality trauma and general surgical care in a fast-paced environment.

• Hold FRACS or equivalent specialist qualification
• Meet specialist registration with Medical Board of Australia
• Show strong general and trauma surgery capability
• Bring experience in trauma, burns and acute care
• Contribute to teaching, research and quality improvement
