About the role

Join a team that makes a real difference in the lives of South Australian women. As a Casual Administration Officer with BreastScreen SA, part of the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, you’ll play an important role in supporting a vital public health service dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer. Working across a variety of administration support areas—including Client Communication, Reception Support and Image Management—you’ll help ensure our services run smoothly and that every client experience is professional, respectful and welcoming.

In this varied and rewarding role, you’ll use a range of IT systems to deliver high-quality customer service within established timeframes, while maintaining strict confidentiality. You’ll liaise with internal stakeholders to provide timely administrative support, and work with a degree of autonomy under the guidance of a Team Leader—using your initiative and sound judgement to resolve day-to-day matters. You’ll also contribute to quality assurance activities, supporting continuous improvement across the service. If you’re organised, adaptable and enjoy working in a collaborative, purpose-driven environment, we’d love to hear from you.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing, with a diverse range of clients, staff and stakeholders
  • Proven organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy while working under pressure
  • Experience providing confidential administrative support in a customer-focused setting, with strong computer skills across Microsoft Office and other systems
