About the Role

Join the Neuroscience and Rehabilitation team at TQEH as a Ward Clerk and help keep the ward running smoothly. In this busy, patient facing role, you manage reception, support bed flow and maintain accurate admin processes that support safe, efficient care.

  • Maintain patient records and ward admin systems
  • Coordinate bed flow and support patient movement
  • Liaise with clinical teams across the ward and hospital
  • Respond to enquiries and direct requests as needed
  • Support and guide less experienced admin staff

About You
You are organised, approachable and thrive in a busy ward environment. You communicate with confidence, manage competing priorities and provide high quality support to patients, families and clinical teams.

• Experience in admin support within a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Confident use of Microsoft Office and admin systems
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
• Knowledge of medical terminology and admin processes
