About the position
Working with the Associate Dean, Partnerships, the Senior Coordinator Partnerships will play a key leadership role in driving governance and partnership activities within the School of Education and supporting strategic projects such as the Nexus program.
In this role, you will lead, support and coordinate a diverse range of partnership-related initiatives, including the development and progression of new partnership agreements, preparation of tender proposals, and reporting to both internal and external stakeholders. You will also support the implementation of the School’s short courses strategy, working to ensure strategic alignment and high-quality delivery. A critical part of the role involves developing and maintaining robust data management processes and reporting frameworks, ensuring all activities meet the governance requirements and regulatory reporting associated with the Nexus program.
Duties at this level will include:
- Support the development, coordination and implementation of strategic partnership projects and initiatives that drive innovation, collaboration and excellence across the School of Education.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality reports to government and other external stakeholders, detailing the progress and performance of the Nexus program and other relevant projects, in line with the relevant partnership agreements.
- Prepare and develop competitive tender proposals, ensuring alignment with the School’s strategic direction and growth priorities.
- In collaboration with the Associate Dean Partnerships, coordinate the development and progression of partnership agreements, working closely with the University’s Business Development team in the Office of the PVC Industry Engagement and the Placement Partnering & Operations team in the Office of the Provost.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with all aspects of partnerships agreements, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in the University’s partnership management systems.
Skills and knowledge required for the position
- A relevant undergraduate degree with a minimum of four years of subsequent experience; or extensive experience and demonstrated management expertise; or an equivalent combination of knowledge, training and experience.
- Proficiency in computing, with demonstrated experience using a variety of applications to develop reports and present information (Power BI, SharePoint, Excel).
- Experience in project management, including strategic planning, resource coordination and task prioritisation.
- Experience working in the tertiary education sector or a similarly complex organisational environment.
- Proven ability to produce high-quality reports using both statistical and qualitative data, with strong skills in data interpretation and descriptive analysis.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple concurrent projects with strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
