Incinerator Operator (Silverwater, NSW)

  • $32.72 per hour plus OT rates when available
  • Monday to Friday 8am or 9am starts
  • Silverwater location

The Opportunity

Based at our Silverwater site, we are seeking a new team member to join our site operations team.  Your day to day tasks will include general warehouse duties, moving full/empty waste bins around site, assisting with loading/unloading trucks and learning how to operate the incinerator – with further opportunities to become a full time incinerator operator in the future.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Availability for shifts commencing at 8am or 9am in Silverwater
  • Open to completing some overtime when required (potentially on weekends)
  • Forklift licence (desirable)
  • The ability to work as part of a team, but also independently
  • Physically fit and be adept in handling waste from medical facilities
  • Great communication skills with good attention to detail
  • Willingness to take a Pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol test
  • Willingness to undertake a National Police Criminal History Check

We are seeking someone who can display a superior commitment to safety and who will represent the Cleanaway Daniels brand with pride. This role is an opportunity for the suitable candidate to be upskilled and cross trained within the business.

Due to the nature of this work, evidence of currency of vaccination or the willingness to receive defined vaccinations is essential. This will include Tetanus and Hepatitis A & B.
