The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Credit Collections Officer to support effective debt recovery and cash collection while maintaining strong customer relationships. This role is responsible for managing assigned debtor accounts, reducing aged debt, and contributing to improved cash flow outcomes across the organisation. Kery Responsibilities;

• Engage customers through inbound and outbound channels to maximise debt recovery and cash collection
• Manage assigned collections portfolios with a strong focus on maximising cash flow while maintaining excellent customer service
• Maintain the highest standards of professional conduct, presentation, and company representation
• Contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and positive workplace culture
• Work flexibly and respond positively to changing business and stakeholder needs
• Support the implementation, measurement, and management of strategies to reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and aged debt
• Assist in developing, monitoring, and achieving collection targets and forecasts
• Support debtor activity reporting and ensure collection activities align with departmental budgets
• Perform additional duties within the scope of the role as required

 About You

• Experience and knowledge of Debt Collection and/or Accounts Receivable fundamentals
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel
• Proven ability to develop and execute effective collection strategies
• Experience working with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Customer-focused mindset with proven service excellence
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience analysing and managing large volumes of data
• High attention to detail with strong analytical capability
