Police Officer I - Department Only - K9
The Police Officer I - K9 performs standard Police Officer duties with K9 as needed to support the safety and security of the campus community. Performs regular K9 searches of campus facilities, property, venues, and athletic events. Responds to bomb threats and assists with making routine checks for planted explosive devices prior to events that draw large crowds or generate controversy. Promotes UAPD’s community-oriented policing mission through programs, K9 demonstrations, community events, and community interactions. Conducts regular on-shift training and attends supervised training each month throughout the duration of the assignment to provide a safer environment for the campus community. Cares for the departmental K9 placed in their charge twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

The Compensation Analyst I assists in the administration of staff compensation and classification programs and projects for the University under general supervision.
Compensation Analyst II - 529193
The Compensation Analyst II administers staff compensation and classification programs and projects for the University under limited supervision.
Compensation Analyst III - 529194
The Compensation Analyst III administers and leads staff compensation and classification programs and complex projects for the University.
Event Coordinator - 529195
The Event Coordinator oversees the implementation, execution, and follow-up for events hosted on- and off-campus. Creates invitations. Selects sites. Creates seating arrangements. Negotiates with florist, caterers, event space staff, print shops, etc. Manages on-site contract staff, students, and etc.
Conflict of Interest Program Coordinator - 529196
The Conflict of Interest Program Coordinator implements and coordinates the Institutional Conflict of Interest and Conflict of Commitment Program in accordance with the Board of Trustees and the Alabama State Ethics Laws. Creates and manages management plan templates and supporting guidance documentation related to assigned areas. Coordinates with compliance leadership to determine appropriate auditable controls for management plans. Develops guides and job aids to help identify and categorize possible conflicts. Assists with training the campus population regarding conflicts of interest related to assigned areas. Collaborates with campus partners to create management plans for assigned areas.
Administrative Assistant II - 529200
The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Prospect Research Analyst II - 529201
The Prospect Research Analyst II identifies and provides research information on individual, corporation, and foundation major gift prospects to assist individuals within and outside the University who conduct University advancement programs. The research provided by this position is vital to the successful advancement activities of the President, Vice President for University Advancement, Associate Vice President for Development, and Deans and Advancement/Development Officers in the University's colleges, schools, and other divisions.
Scholarship Coordinator - 529202
The Scholarship Coordinator oversees the data management, awarding, distribution, and notification of all scholarships awarded University campus-wide to students through a comprehensive network of state chapters of the National Alumni Association. Serves as the administrator of the scholarship programs for the NAA’s state chapters within the Alumni Scholarship Department for those scholarships to be awarded to students enrolling in departments University-wide.

The Postdoctoral Fellow provides for an internship and continuation of scholarly activity and research after achieving the PhD or other doctoral degree under the direction of a senior faculty member who serves as a mentor for the postdoctoral appointee.

The Development Operations Engineer I builds and configures containerization and clusterization under general supervision. Helps monitor applications, servers, system reliability, and compute performance. Implements various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructure under close supervision. May provide support for the development, test, release, and update processes for development operations operation. Encourages and builds automated processes wherever possible. Monitors and documents changes to code with source control tools.
Personal Trainer - Temporary Part-Time (No Benefits) - 529161
The Personal Trainer instructs clients in individualized fitness programs. Designs programs based on the medical history, goals, and current fitness level of the client.
Custodian - 529172
The Custodian performs routine manual work in housekeeping and cleaning of interior spaces and immediate exterior areas.
Assistant Director Specialized Recruitment - 529174
The Assistant Director of Specialized Recruitment provides leadership, direction, and supervision over the team that handles student recruitment efforts.
Assistant Director Billing and Coding Compliance - 529180
The Assistant Director of Billing and Coding Compliance provides analysis and direction for the administration of insurance follow-ups, and accounts receivable activities. Ensures departmental productivity and compliance goals are met. Provides guidance, trains, and supervises billing office staff.
