The College Post-Award Research Coordinator I assists researchers and staff within a department, unit, or college with the post-award financial management of grant and contract activities under general supervision. Monitors expenditures, prepares budget changes, journal entries, personnel action forms, forecasting, reconciliations, and other related activities in compliance with Federal, State, and Local government requirements. Participates in training as required by the Office for Research & Economic Development.

The Systems Engineer III provides effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and administration of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. Provides advanced level systems engineering and administration to support the functionality and availability of enterprise-wide and mission-critical University systems under minimal supervision.

The Buyer II supports the formal competitive bid process, development of contracts, service agreements, leases and other written legal agreements under moderate supervision. Procures items or services in an assigned commodity area at the best total value. Obtains quotations and enters into negotiations with suppliers as necessary. Ensures compliance with University policies, guidelines, and the State of Alabama Bid Law. Provides guidance and trains entry-level buyers.

The Communications Specialist I writes and edits communications for a department, college, and/or division under general supervision. Develops and implements plans, activities, and tactics to support the goals of assigned areas. Coordinates the production of materials and resources through a variety of platforms, including digital and physical mediums.
UREC Sport Programs Coordinator - 526016
The UREC Sport Programs Coordinator provides professional management and supervision for the daily operations of University Recreation Intramural Sports and Sport Club programs.

Ensures compliance with Federal, State, and Local government regulations related to pre-award and/or post-award sponsored project activities. Provides oversight and review of grant and contract activities prepared by the researchers and their administrative teams and provides resolution on complex highly matters. Reviews and approves proposals with responsibility for timely submission to the sponsor. Develops and provides training to OSP and college level staff, including use of electronic research administration systems. Serves as the liaison between the University and the sponsor. Collaborates with key stakeholders to develop procedures and processes that improve business practices.

The Sales Associate I performs various retail support activities under close supervision. Receives, unpacks, restocks, prices, shelves, stages, and sells merchandise. Operates cash register to complete sales. Provides customer service to patrons.
UA Early College Program Manager - 525723
The UA Early College Program Manager designs, develops, implements, and manages program(s) within UA Early College. Oversees all marketing, recruitment, and communications for the program. Serves as liaison between the program and contacts internal and external to the University. Hires, trains, and supervises Peer Mentor/Residential student staff. Assists the Director with the financial management of program budget(s).

The Media Production Associate works with faculty and other academic support professionals to record, shoot, edit, and deliver high quality media to be used in online courses and marketing campaigns. Operates video studio. Shoots field shots using cameras and other support units.

The UA Online Program Manager oversees and manages a dynamic portfolio of online academic degree and certificate programs within the University of Alabama Online. Acts as the liaison between the academic college and The University of Alabama Online. Drives online program innovation, managing processes for program development.

The Web Developer I writes and maintains standard front-end and back-end code that supports websites and web applications. Applies specialized knowledge of web code standards and frameworks to produce complex, dynamic websites and applications that meet standards required by University and governmental policy. Works under close supervision.
Academic Advisor I - 525383
The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to University students on academic progress, courses, University resources, etc. Identifies courses to be completed in upcoming semesters. Explains University and College policies. May teach compass course as needed.
