BCAS - Instructor of Gender and Race Studies - 527380
The Department of Gender and Race Studies at the University of Alabama is searching to fill three full-time, renewable contract Instructor positions with a start date of August of 2026. Successful applicants will have demonstrated teaching experience in courses in any of the disciplines of Sociology, African American Studies, or Women's Studies. ABD candidates must have completed the requirements for the PhD prior to starting the position.

The Research Assistant I assists with research work tasks of low-complexity in support of a research project under close supervision. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. The Trades Helper performs simple manual work in assisting skilled mechanics and apprentices of various trades under close supervision. Typically assigned to assist crew of the same trade on a regular basis.
Admissions Associate I - 527390
The Admissions Associate I provides clerical and administrative support for the admissions and scholarship processes under close supervision. Processes and reviews applications, transcripts, and test scores. Prepares admissions reports. Communicates with prospective students and guardians.

The Business Consulting Program Manager provides technical assistance services. Develops program goals. Oversees business creations, access to capital, business expansion, and job creation.
Manager IT Infrastructure Operations - 527393
The Manager of IT Infrastructure Operations oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the Infrastructure Technicians. Manages the scheduling of events or work orders for operational and project work across campus. Works closely with construction administration, facilities, OIT project coordinators, and OIT network engineers to plan for future cable paths and protect campus fiber and copper plant. Documents network infrastructure both underground cable plant and campus building network and fiber paths.
Emergency Medical Services Dispatcher - Contingent On-Call (No Benefits) - 527394
The Emergency Medical Services Dispatcher receives and processes requests from a variety of sources to include multiple telephone lines and radio frequencies for emergency and non-emergency assistance under moderate supervision. Dispatches appropriate personnel in an efficient and timely manner.
Research Systems and Reporting Director - 527395
The Research Systems and Reporting Director provides strategic leadership in the implementation, integration, and long-term sustainment of enterprise electronic research administration (eRA) systems. Ensures research systems support the university’s research strategy, compliance responsibilities, and operational needs. Provides ongoing oversight and integration of current internal research administration systems and the effective use of external sponsor systems. Serves as a connector across administrative units, academic departments, IT, and external partners to modernize and support research infrastructure.

The Emergency Medical Technician provides out of hospital emergency medical care and transportation for critical and emergent patients, including non-emergency/routine medical transports to life threatening emergencies.
