Job Summary: The Law School Academic Records Associate maintains accurate and secure student records for the Law School by handling the administrative matters relating to evaluating transfer credits, advising students, course scheduling and degree verifications. Audits student records to make sure they meet requirements for graduation. Answers student questions regarding registration, exams, grades, and bar applications. Assists students with registration, including drop/ adds. Assists in the administration and maintenance of all midterm and final exams, including preparation of exam instructions, collection of pledge forms to ensure exam integrity, and retention of exam files. Prepares records, including certification of graduation and confirmation of character and fitness, for bar applications in multiple jurisdictions.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and four (4) years of administrative experience; OR associate’s degree and two (2) years of administrative experience; OR bachelor's degree or higher.
Skills and Knowledge: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously, work independently, and work collaboratively with professional colleagues. Ability to exercise attention to detail with a high level of accuracy. Demonstrates commitment to supporting all students. Knowledge and skills with Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office programs. Ability to learn new software programs quickly.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and four (4) years of experience dealing with college academic records.
