The Assistant Director of Recruiting of the Levin College of Law will be responsible for management of employer relations including the execution of new and existing on-campus and off-campus recruiting programs. The Assistant Director of Recruiting will develop strategies to enhance existing employer relationships and create new relationships with legal employers. Specifically, the Assistant Director will develop initiatives to increase participation in recruiting programs that will enhance student placement opportunities.
The Assistant Director will conduct and coordinate outreach to potential employers in legal markets nationwide and related employment sectors. The Assistant Director will be responsible for soliciting new employers, conducting industry research, actively marketing UF Law students and alumni to employers, implementing on-campus interview programs, and creating opportunities for new employers to connect with students and alumni.
The Assistant Director will assist in the direction and development of all aspects of the Levin College of Law’s employer outreach strategy in collaboration with the Senior Assistant Dean and the Director. The Assistant Director will be responsible for increasing the number of elite law firms, public interest and government legal employers participating in on-campus and off-campus recruiting programs and ultimately enhancing the national presence and reputation of the Levin College of Law.
The Assistant Director will work under the direction of the Director of Career and Professional Development and in coordination with the Senior Assistant Dean for Students to develop strategies, programs, and polices related to employer outreach.
The Assistant Director will have extensive public contact with students, alumni, legal employers, other employers, faculty, and staff.
