The Graphic Designer plays a vital role in leading the creative communications process for Pepperdine University and its five schools. As part of University Marketing and Communications at Pepperdine, this position is responsible for many of the University's high profile communications pieces and serves a key communication liaison for the team. Under the supervision of the Assistant Director of Creative, the Graphic Designer will assist the assistant director and other IMC staff in designing major communications pieces that reach Pepperdine’s largest, external audiences. The Graphic Designer has the tools to create, integrate, analyze, synthesize and visualize vast amounts of information. Collaborates with production artists, photographers, illustrators, prepress technicians, printers, developers, and anyone else who is involved in the development of a project.

Librarian for Electronic Resources Malibu Campus
The Librarian for Electronic Resources manages the acquisition, access, and renewal of electronic resources, ensuring seamless and reliable access for all users. This role involves analyzing usage data to inform collection development, negotiating license agreements, and maintaining accurate metadata to ensure that Pepperdine Libraries’ resources meet the ever-changing needs of the university’s academic community. Pepperdine Libraries’ collections currently include more than 370,000 print volumes, 500,000 ebooks, 65,000 electronic serials, and 130 databases. Pool Manager Malibu Campus
The University Pool Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and management of the university’s swimming pool and related aquatic facilities. This role involves ensuring a safe, clean, and enjoyable environment for all users, including student athletes, students, staff, and community members. The Pool Manager will supervise pool staff, coordinate maintenance schedules, manage pool safety protocols, and ensure compliance with university policies and local regulations. The Pool Manager will be responsible for athletics event coordination and management. The role will collaborate with Campus Special Programs and outside requests for pool use. The position will act independently and make critical judgments in an emergency condition at the pool facility. The role demands quick thinking, the ability to prioritize, the capacity to make critical decisions under pressure, and an awareness of the risks involved. The pool manager must be prepared to act decisively, often without the luxury of second-guessing, while balancing the needs of the victims, their safety, and the larger emergency response goals.

Director of the Disaster Relief Clinic Malibu Campus
The Director of the Disaster Relief Clinic will direct the CSOL’s pro bono and clinical responses to the 2025 wildfires in Los Angeles and other natural disasters. The director will administer the program under supervision of the Associate Dean of Clinical Education & amp; Global Programs, will lead the clinic’s and pro bono program’s law practice, practice law directly with clinical faculty and staff attorneys, supervise pro bono and clinic students, and teach the Disaster Relief Clinic. The Clinic’s teaching practice will provide legal services to clients who lost their homes or property in recent wildfires in Los Angeles, including education, advice, counsel, and advocacy on FEMA applications and appeals, insurance matters, housing issues, and rebuilding questions. The Disaster Relief Clinic is a component of the Program of Clinical Education and the Pro Bono Programs at the School of Law. Through the pro bono programs, law students volunteer to handle basic legal matters under supervision of the director and other faculty. In the clinical course, enrolled students earn credit for a greater volume of supervised, focused work on more complex and demanding matters. The director will supervise pro bono students’ work in Spring 2025 and Summer 2025. The director will revive, teach, and direct students in the Disaster Relief Clinic course in Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising students in legal work, teaching and directing the Disaster Relief Clinic and its associated programs. The director may also supervise part-time staff attorneys. The director will also be responsible for organizing and executing community education and field clinics throughout the community, will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining vital relationships with area partners, legal aid agencies, counterpart clinics, local governments, donors, and other stakeholders.

Director, Student Services Calabasas Campus
The newly established College of Health Science (CHS) at Pepperdine University is seeking a Director of Student Services. The director will be a primary leader responsible for the successful delivery of student services to undergraduate and graduate students in both CHS in-person and online academic programs. Their primary responsibility will be to oversee operations related to all CHS student services, including, but not limited to: student success, academic advising, student experience, career services, spiritual life, and missional service-learning. The director will report to the Dean of the College of Health Science and will be expected to collaborate closely with the deans/directors of all CHS academic and co-curricular programs. In collaboration with the dean and associate dean of the CHS, the director will lead the effort to hire support staff to coordinate each of the aforementioned areas, with the understanding that in the early years of CHS operation, a single coordinator may have responsibility for one or more of the areas. The director will be supported in their role by a robust pre-existing student services’ infrastructure with well-developed resources at Pepperdine University. The director will lead a team in developing student services programs for CHS students, in partnership with existing University student life programming and personnel. They will provide leadership to student services staff to establish a proactive approach in all areas to address academic, personal, spiritual, and professional needs, and respond to unforeseen challenges in a way that conveys genuine care for each member of the CHS community.
