The Social Media and Engagement Specialist creates and curates content that expresses the character of Kenyon College on its digital channels, with the goal of building community and inspiring meaningful engagement. With a talent for perfectly pitched messages and a deep understanding of social media, this creative and self-motivated individual is Kenyon’s voice — and ear — in the digital landscape. The Social Media and Engagement Specialist joins Kenyon’s efforts to speak to prospective students and parents and those who influence them, including current students, parents and alumni. In this capacity, the Social Media and Engagement Specialist produces and manages content for Kenyon’s primary social media accounts. This individual also tracks analytics on these platforms, informing content strategy and contributing to a broader set of marketing insights for the College.
Associate Director for Health Promotion Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is seeking a dynamic and qualified candidate to serve as the Associate Director for Health Promotion. Assistant Men's Soccer Coach Gambier, OH
Kenyon College invites applications for the position of Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach. This is a full time, 10-month reporting position with benefits. Under the general direction of the Head Men’s Soccer Coach, this coach will assist with the responsibilities of the highly competitive NCAA D-III Men’s Soccer program in accordance and compliance with NCAA, NCAC, and Kenyon College policies and regulations. The Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach will work with the head coach to fulfill the following responsibilities: assisting the Head Coach with recruiting, planning and running practice sessions, and game day responsibilities. Additional responsibilities will be assigned in game management, facility overview, teaching, and / or administration. Grounds Person Gambier, OH
Kenyon College is conducting a search for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Grounds Person to maintain athletic fields, snow removal, weeding, mulching, pruning, and a wide variety of tasks working independently or as a member of a group, to maintain college-owned property and campus grounds, including trees, shrubs, and flower beds; present a hazard-free and overall clean and neat campus appearance. Individual must understand that it may be necessary to work overtime, in order to provide a safe campus for students. Some activities are, but not limited to snow removal, icy situations, flooding, removal of storm damaged trees, and other acts of God. This is a full-time position with benefits. The starting pay is $15.00 per hour. After the successful candidate completes a 60 day working probation period, the wage will increase to $19.77 per hour. This position works Monday - Friday, 7:30am – 4:30pm, with a one-hour unpaid lunch.

Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Center for the Study of American Democracy, One-year Residential Gambier, OH
Postdoctoral Fellowship with the Center for the Study of American Democracy The Center for the Study of American Democracy invites applications for a one-year residential postdoctoral fellowship for the academic year 2025-26, with a start date of August 2025. This fellowship will explore the nexus between the market and society. Candidates will be jointly appointed with an appropriate affiliate department of the Center, such as economics, history, political science, philosophy or sociology. To be considered for the position, candidates must demonstrate a strong research interest in the role that free markets play in economic and political development. We encourage applications from candidates holding Ph.D.’s in economic history, economic sociology, new institutional economics, political philosophy, political economy, public policy, or similar fields. Fellows will advance their research agendas and teach one course per semester in an affiliate department of the Center, such as economics, history, political science, philosophy or sociology. Fellows will also assist with the activities of the Center, including participating in a research seminar, bringing speakers to campus, and organizing the Center’s political economy colloquium. Fellows are required to live in the local community and are expected to participate in the cultural life of Kenyon College by regularly attending readings, lectures, presentations, and other campus activities. Visiting Assistant Professor in Medieval History Gambier, OH
Kenyon College, a highly selective, nationally-ranked liberal arts college in central Ohio, invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor in Medieval History beginning July 1, 2025. The successful candidate will teach both survey and seminar-level courses in medieval history in Europe and the broader Mediterranean world.
