Job description:

As an ANUM in community nursing, you'll be working across sites which could include starting your day at either Central Highlands (Ouse), New Norfolk, and Midlands (Oatlands), involving home visits and clinic appointments.

The Role:

The Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) is an experienced nurse who, within the defined area of practice:

  • Works in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) and other senior staff, to ensure the efficient and effective provision of care based on best practice principles within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework.
  • Assists the NUM with the planning and management of staff and resources and provides operational leadership through the coordination of the day-to-day patient care activities, including patient flow.

As an ANUM in community nursing, you'll be working across the following sites Central Highlands (Ouse), New Norfolk, and Midlands (Oatlands), that involves providing clients with care in either home or clinic settings.

Details of appointment:

Fixed term, part time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, working up to 40 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible for a period of approximately twelve (12) months.

*notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary: $103,466 - $109,165 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

  • Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023

Allowance 

You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:

  • Professional Development Allowance of up to $500 per annum
  • Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10 % based on qualification type

Eligibility:

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

  • Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse

  • Current Working with vulnerable people Registration NDIS endorsed

  • Current driver's License
