Millbrook Rise Centre is looking to employ a Catering Services Officer to join the team. You will work collaboratively in a dynamic team environment that strives to deliver outstanding healthcare to our patients, located within the beautiful Derwent Valley municipality.
As a Catering Services Officer you will be expected to perform the following:
- Ensure a high standard of food preparation and presentation for patient and staff meals along with special dietary requirements for both food and refreshments where required.
- Distribute meals to individual units in accordance with relevant policies.
- Ensure adherence to food hygiene regulations throughout the kitchen and maintain regular cleaning checks, which are to be documented.
- Clean and sanitise all kitchen equipment and relevant areas as directed by relevant supervisor, and in accordance with relevant guidelines.
- Carry out duties safely and in accordance with Work Health and Safety requirements and food handling and hygiene regulations.
- Undertake all training required to work in Mental Health Inpatient setting.

Details of appointment:
Fixed term, casual position working as and when required, commencing as soon as possible until 30 June 2027 with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary: $63,110 to $66,049 per annum (Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
- Salary range is in accordance with Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement 2022.
