Job description:
In consultation with the President, provide leadership and management for all human, financial, advisory, physical and technology resources available to support the Tribunal in carrying out its role effectively and efficiently.

Hours per fortnight
73.50 hours per fortnight - flexible options available.
Duties
- Provide high-level leadership, support and management of staff to ensure the efficient administration of the Tribunal.
- Manage the development and implementation of policies, systems and practices to support the establishment and efficient ongoing operation of the Tribunal.
- Prepare strategic and business plans, annual reports and other high-level documentation as required.
- Provide high quality mediation and conciliation to resolve complex disputes, using a range of alternative dispute resolution techniques to achieve results.
- Ensure the provision of high-level, timely and accurate advice to stakeholders, including government agencies, professionals, the community and members of the Tribunal with regard to the Tribunal’s functions and procedures.
- Undertake the statutory functions of the Principal Registrar and exercise delegated functions and powers.
Essential Requirements
- Admission or qualifications for the entitlement to be admitted as a legal practitioner under the Legal Profession Act 2007.
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience as a Registrar, or in a similar position.
- Qualifications and/or experience in alternative dispute resolution processes

- Pre-employment (National Police Record) checks for: Arson and fire setting, violent crimes and crimes against the person, sex-related offences, drug and alcohol related offences, crimes involving dishonesty, deception and/or conspiracy, making false declarations, malicious damage and destruction to property, serious traffic offences, crimes against public order or relating to the Administration of Law and Justice, Executive or the Legislative Power.
- Disciplinary action in previous employment.
