The Division of Development and Alumni is dedicated to supporting the mission of the university through building relationships with Alumni and raising funds to meet the University needs. The creative manager will be housed under the supervision of the Associate Director for Communications and Donor Relations.

Salary Grade:  15

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and Production:
- Create visually compelling graphics, layouts, and materials for print and digital platforms, including brochures, flyers, social media content, email campaigns, presentations, and reports.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and design solutions that align with the organization's branding and messaging.
- Ensure all designs are consistent with the organization's brand guidelines and maintain a high level of quality and creativity.
• Content Development:
- Work closely with program managers and content creators to translate complex information into engaging visual content that resonates with diverse audiences.
• Digital Media:
- Design graphics and assets for the organization’s website, social media channels, and digital campaigns to enhance online presence and engagement.
- Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including animation, to support storytelling efforts.
• Collaboration and Support:
- Collaborate with external vendors, photographers, and printers to ensure the successful production of materials.
- Provide design support for fundraising events, conferences, and other organizational initiatives.
• Management:
- Supervise a team of graphic designers to implement the creation of design solutions for all projects.
- Assign projects and create production schedules to ensure productivity and deadline completion.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in graphic design, preferably within the non-profit sector.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of design styles and projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
