Overview:
The student concierge team provides front-line customer service for all academic schools. They are the main source of school-level information for all prospective students/families and current students. These students maintain a thorough knowledge of the university and their respective school. The goal of the student concierge team is to improve the daily lives of RMU students (from recruitment through graduation) by providing a single source of knowledge for all campus and community information. Members will develop professional skills in communication, time management, personal responsibility and leadership. A concierge team member is an elite campus position that carries prestige and recognition. Members will be seen as the face of their respective academic schools and will be consulted regarding all student school-level initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Concierge team members will:
• Lead school immersive tours for prospective students and families
• Assist with on-campus Admissions events for their school
• Interact professionally at all times with university visitors, faculty, and staff
• Excel in communicating the university’s mission/goals & sharing personal experiences relative to their academic school
• Assist with social media content and postings for their academic school
• Develop and assist with their school’s event planning
• Create and assist with community impact initiatives• Be available for consultation for all student initiatives for their school
• Work university concierge desk shifts
