Assistant Director, Student Retention Partial Remote, Bethlehem
The The Assistant Director, Student Retention is responsible for the implementation and oversight of student retention and persistence programs and initiatives originating from the Office of Student Retention. This position works collaboratively with offices across the university (e.g., Academic Advisors, Registrar, Financial Aid, Bursar, Student Affairs) to assist students in resolving issues, navigating support, and managing complex cases that may affect persistence, satisfaction, and graduation. The candidate is self-directed in day-to-day operations, completes complex tasks and thinks strategically without daily oversight.

Laboratory Safety Specialist Partial Remote, Bethlehem
This role, reporting to the EH&S Director, focuses on supporting laboratory managers by ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Key responsibilities include addressing hazards related to chemicals, biological agents, and ergonomic factors, as well as managing PPE and hazardous waste. The position involves evaluating lab environments, designing safety programs, conducting inspections, and investigating incidents. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge, be able to work independently, and possess skills in conflict resolution and public speaking. The role also includes the authority to stop work in cases of imminent danger.
Assistant Director of Residence Life Bethlehem
The Assistant Director (AD) of Residence Life is a professional, full-time, live-in member of the Office of Residence Life staff. The AD is one of five Assistant Directors and reports to an Associate Director of Residence Life. The AD is responsible for the on-site stewardship and overall management of their residential area. The AD directly supervises a team of paraprofessional residence hall student staff (Gryphons). In addition, the AD will assist with the implementation of various residential curriculum strategies, will have department committee and project responsibilities, in addition to supporting department staff selection and training processes. The AD shares on-call duty responsibilities for the residential campus. Regular evening and weekend commitments are required.

In addition, this position coordinates all aspects of life safety in both graduate and undergraduate residential areas. The Assistant Director will also manage all administrative and operational functions within University housing. This position assists in managing student billing for all housing and dining charges. The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for planning, developing, and monitoring behavioral support services to meet the needs of clients diagnosed with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
