Dr Jamaspishvili is conducting translational and clinical cancer research projects in collaboration with other clinical departments (hematology-oncology, urology, radiology) and disciplines (computer science, bioinformatics, epidemiology). The project title is: “Studying the prognostic and predictive role of PD-L1 expression on digital pathology images using artificial intelligence in a pan-cancer retrospective patient cohort undergoing immunotherapy”.
The project is extensive and requires assembling a retrospective research cohort of SUNY Upstate patients (n=900) diagnosed with advanced/metastatic lung and other cancers and who were candidates for immunotherapy.The students should be enrolled in a graduate Medical, Health Sciences or Public Health program.
