Schedule:

Our son attends 4K Tuesday through Friday mornings (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM). We are looking for someone to assist with the following on Thursdays and Fridays:

  • Thursdays (approx. 10:30 AM - 4:00 PM): Pick up our son from his 4K program, bring him home, prepare and serve him lunch, play with him until 1, and then facilitate his nap or quiet time. While he is resting, we'd appreciate help with some light household tasks or meal prep, though your primary focus will be on his care.
  • Fridays (approx. 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM): Pick up our son from his 4K program and transport him directly to his part-time daycare.

Salary/Wage Range:

Hourly $20.00 to $25.00

Position Summary/Job Duties:

We are a friendly, busy, bookish family living on the near West Side of Madison (close to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church). We are looking for a reliable and caring individual to help with our son, who will be starting 4K in September. This is a consistent, part-time position beginning with the school year, with the potential for additional hours for the right candidate.

Our son is a bright, imaginative, enthusiastic little boy who enjoys reading, building toys, and imaginative play.

Our ideal candidate is:

  • Experienced: Has some prior experience working with young children (babysitting, nannying, childcare, etc.).
  • Child-Focused: Genuinely enjoys spending time with and engaging children.
  • Conscientious & Reliable: Punctual, responsible, and a clear communicator.
  • A Safe Driver: Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle. We will provide an appropriate car seat for transport.
