Sr Qualitative Data Researcher Sociomedical Sciences Medical Center
The Department of Sociomedical Sciences at the Columbia Mailman School of Public Health is seeking a Sr Qualitative Data Researcher for a National Institute on Aging funded study of the psychosocial impact among Latinos of genetic susceptibility testing for Alzheimer’s disease. While the study has both a qualitative and quantitative component, this position is for work on the qualitative one. The person hired for this position will have a mix of research-related responsibilities. Under the supervision of the study’s Principal Investigator, the Sr Qualitative Data Researcher’s primary responsibilities will include developing data analysis strategies for planned publications; carrying out analyses of the qualitative study data and interpreting the results; and assisting in preparation of research publications. Subject to business needs, we may support flexible and hybrid work arrangements. Options will be discussed during the interview process.
