Salary range $135,459 – $157,027 plus super

Who are you?
You are a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in managing large industrial equipment, particularly in generation and production environments. Your strong technical background in Primary and/or Secondary control systems allows you to offer thoughtful recommendations and provide engineering sign-off on a range of documents, including technical reports, design drawings, asset management strategies, engineering standards, and project proposals. With excellent leadership capabilities, you guide and positively influence your team’s development through mentorship, fostering growth and ensuring strong support.
About the role:
You will provide real time, senior engineering expertise and oversee the planning and delivery of maintenance and repairs of generation assets. This will involve being able to readily respond to business needs to ensure assets are available to generate as needed to supply the NEM.
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will be…
✓ Providing high level engineering and technical input into electrical asset specifications as well as documents and standards,
✓ Reviewing and making recommendations towards the final engineering sign-off of key engineering documents,
✓ Providing technical options and solutions to asset issues that contribute to the safe and timely commissioning of assets for availability,
✓ Providing engineering or technical advice for projects and to resolve technical issues,
✓ Working closely with a range of stakeholders including the Commercial, Major Maintenance and Major Works teams.
