About the role
As the Operational Technology Infrastructure Lead, you’ll enable safe, reliable energy generation by leading resilient OT infrastructure. You’ll blend hands‑on technical leadership with governance and improvement, collaborating across cyber, asset and operations teams while guiding a small specialist team.
Salary range $140,877 – $163,308 plus super

Key responsibilities
• Provide technical leadership for OT networking and compute infrastructure.
• Design, evolve, and operate secure, resilient OT infrastructure (largely on‑premises).
• Lead infrastructure operations, including monitoring, incident response, root cause analysis, and high availability outcomes.
• Oversee disaster recovery, backup strategies, and capacity planning aligned with business continuity requirements.
• Establish and enforce operational standards, security, governance, and compliance controls.
•Contribute to cyber security incident response and participate in a 24/7 on‑call roster.

Skills & experience
• Tertiary qualifications in IT, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience operating SCADA and control system networks and infrastructure.
• Hands‑on experience with contemporary application hosting technologies (e.g. container orchestration, virtualisation).
• Strong background managing Windows and Enterprise Linux systems, including in air‑gapped or isolated networks.
• Strong collaboration, resilience, and leadership skills.
