About the role
Lead the operational management of Hydro Tasmania’s land, buildings and access assets across the state. You’ll deliver maintenance and capital works using a whole‑of‑life approach, manage budgets, mitigate public and business risk, and lead stakeholder engagement for recreational, commercial and conservation access. This is a senior role with real impact on safety, community access and asset performance.
Salary range $ 154,643 to $209,286 plus super

Key responsibilities
• Run day‑to‑day production services operations, managing safety, access and bushfire risk.
• Deliver maintenance and capital works across roads, bridges, buildings and access assets.
• Manage Opex and Capex spend, forecasts and variances.
• Deliver the annual Production Services works program with clear controls.
•Manage on‑ground public access, recreation, leases and licences.
•Lead and develop the Production Services team.

Skills & experience
• Tertiary qualification in engineering or related discipline (civil ideal).
• Experience managing production services and operational sites.
• Proven delivery of capital works with strong value, risk and contract control.
• Strong people leadership with budget acumen and business case accountability.
• Applied Lean knowledge and a current C‑class driver licence.
