About the role
Based in Niapluna (Hobart). You’ll play an important role in supporting the IT relationships, contracts, and services that help power Australia's largest generator of renewable energy.
Working as part of a small supportive IT Vendor Management Office ( IT VMO), you'll maintain vendor and contract information, prepare reports and insights, and help support the effective management of supplier relationships. You'll work closely with vendors, IT contract owners, and internal stakeholders to ensure information is accurate, contracts are well managed, and business needs are supported.
As part of a collaborative team, you'll have the opportunity to build your experience in vendor management, contract administration, procurement support, and stakeholder engagement, while contributing the practical skills and perspectives you've gained from previous customer service, administrative, operational, or stakeholder-focused roles. We're looking for someone who is organised, detail-oriented, curious to learn, and confident building positive working relationships with a wide range of people.

Salary from $96,400 plus super

Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate vendor and contract data in our vendor data sets ensuring records remain current and reliable.
- Prepare reports and provide insights on vendor performance, contract management activities, and supplier vendor data
- Support the IT VMO team and IT contract owners to maintain and manage contracts and supplier relationships.
- Build collaborative networks and relationships with stakeholders with vendors and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted point of contact.
- Assist with procurement activities, including vendor engagement, contract administration, and onboarding processes.
- Support IT contract owners to monitor supplier performance and help ensure contractual commitments and service expectations are met.
- Support the resolution of supplier issues and work with stakeholders to achieve practical outcomes.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of vendor management and procurement processes.
