As a Senior Lecturer, you will:

  • Lead unit and course teaching teams and work collaboratively with other teaching teams in the faculty to develop effective unit/courses curricula and learning materials (including through course leadership roles). Lead review of units and courses and implement refinements.
  • Integrate industry, clinical and/or research practice into unit/course design to improve student learning experiences, success, engagement and resources.
  • Make significant contribution to seeking funding for research and creative activities, including applications for external competitive funding, external funding for commercialization and translation activities and other funding demonstrating sustained efforts.
  • Demonstrate sustained national and building international reputation, as emerging world leader, based on significant and growing focused body of work, recognised quality, excellence and impact with a sustained and growing track record of timely delivery of outcomes for industry partners.

                                                                                                                                                                                      

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • PhD in a relevant discipline and/or advanced qualifications and experience in the relevant discipline area.
  • Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design and research supervision.
  • Nationally and internationally recognised in research and scholarship through publications in quality journals and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
  • Positive engagement with research, community, industry and government to enhance the national standing of the discipline.
