Join our fast-paced reception team who provide an exceptional customer experience to all guests, for a wide variety of requests. Be the face of the Estate and ensure our guests time with us is memorable.
Waurn Ponds Estate is a contemporary conference centre with accommodation, nestled into the beautiful surroundings of Deakin University's Waurn Ponds campus.
To be successful you will have:
- Excellent customer experience skills and a passion for helping people.
- The ability to meet deadlines, multitask and have a high attention to detail, with confidence in interacting with key stakeholders.
- Excellent computer skills as well as written and verbal skills and the ability to communicate with a range of people.
- Available for shifts between 7.30am - 9.30pm any day of the week. Most shifts from 5-8 hours each. On average 15-25 hours per week (2-4 shifts per week).
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Greet guests and welcome with a warm and friendly personality, directing and announcing them appropriately and their needs from arrival to departure.
- Coordinate and work with the kitchen, front of house, housekeeping and events teams to ensure communication is clear and concise and guest needs are met.
- Solve problems and work with the team to find solutions.
- Provide administration and support to the leadership team.
This role requires the incumbent to apply for and maintain a Working With Children Check.
