The Manager, Campaigns and Social Media is the driving force behind our end-to-end, multi-channel campaigns, responsible for collaborating with internal experts across the marketing division, broader university stakeholders and working with agencies, to ensure campaigns leverage the right channels at the right time, are developed in line with best practice creative execution and are finely tuned to resonate across the entire customer journey, to maximise impact during critical decision-making moments. 

In addition, this role is placed at the helm of cutting-edge marketing initiatives, requiring strategic vision to understand audiences, media and channel trends, and shape the trajectory of campaigns. It also leads a team of campaign and social media coordinators to inspire initiatives that captivate audiences. 

The ideal candidate will have keen eye for data, is passionate about project management and rallying teams to deliver exceptional outcomes, and brings the perfect balance of strategy, execution, and creativity to the mix.

As the Manager, Campaigns & Social Media you will: 

  • Manage the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns for key audience segments and priority initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to brand guidelines and agile principles. 

  • Collaborate with cross-divisional teams, including digital, web, creative, communications, content, events, insights and product teams, to define best practice channel plans and align messaging and objectives. 

  • Conceptualise, develop, implement, schedule and review social media and campaign strategies, including the use of traditional, digital and emerging communication mediums. 

  • Work closely with the comms, content, creative teams and agencies as required, to create compelling narratives and assets that resonate with target audiences. 

  • Provide leadership and direction to the campaign and social media coordinators, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment, setting clear goals and providing ongoing feedback and support to achieve objectives and facilitate growth.                                                                                                                                  

To be successful, you’ll have:  

  • Postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience 

  • Experience managing and leading a team to successful outcomes. 

  • Experience in developing and delivering major brand and recruitment campaigns to mass audiences. 

  • Experiencing in project managing / producing multi-channel marketing campaigns, agile methodology desired. 

  • Experience designing and optimising to-market approaches for a complex ecosystem of campaigns. 

  • Experience in developing and delivering content to support marketing campaigns. 

  • Knowledge of planning, projects and budgets in other complex organisations.
