Position overview

The Coordinator, Cloud Provision is responsible for coordinating the provisioning, uplift and implementation of cloud services and assisting in the delivery of web analytics using approved tools. The Coordinator works closely with other technical teams and stakeholders to ensure cloud services are deployed effectively, and data is analysed accurately to support strategic priorities and informed decision-making.

As a Coordinator, you will:

  • Support the configuration, implementation, and day-to-day coordination of Google Cloud Services ensuring performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in managing and optimising Google Cloud resources.
  • Contribute to the development and upkeep of the Google Cloud service catalogue and provide guidance to stakeholders on accessing approved services.
  • Work closely with technical teams and stakeholders to help deliver Google Cloud and Analytics solutions that meet business and faculty-specific needs.
  • Monitor system health and performance metrics for Google Cloud and Analytics platforms, escalating issues and supporting corrective actions as needed.

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
  • Experience with creating large and complex Google Cloud and Analytics configurations.
  • Python developer with extensive experience developing scripts focused on Cloud Run Functions and data analysis via modern tools.
  • Extensive experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other Cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Strong experience with modern web analytics tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to elicit valuable information from HTML content through Javascript/jQuery and capturing the values in Google Tag Manager ‘Variables’ for use in tags and/or custom dimensions.
