What you’ll do

 An exciting new Pharmacy Assistant position is available at Ramsay Pharmacy Coffs Central in New South Wales. This is a full time position on a rotating roster which includes weekend shifts.

As the Pharmacy Assistant, you will work closely with a qualified Pharmacist to prepare medicines, advise patients on non-medicinal products, and assist with stock control. You’ll also receive ongoing support from our brilliant leaders, educators, systems support and marketing teams and access our diverse range of Ramsay employee benefits and discounts.

This role will have you working specifically in the Dose Administration Aid (Webster Pack) Room and you will be responsible for overseeing the daily administrative functions of the Webster pack preparation process. You will ensure the accurate documentation of medication orders, assist with inventory management, and support the team to ensure timely and accurate preparation of Webster packs.

What you’ll bring

 Previous working experience in a pharmacy or retail setting (Experience with Dose Administration Aids is advantageous)

• Certificate II in Community Pharmacy and S2/S3 qualifications are highly desirable but not essential.
• You love working in a team, and collaborating with others to deliver excellent care
• Strong attention to detail and organisation management
• Ability to maintain high standards whilst under pressure and time constraints
• Patient-centred approach to all tasks

It is a mandatory requirement that you provide: 

• Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases
• A national police check conducted within the last 12 months
