The Opportunity

We have a portfolio of transformational work to uplift Ramsay Australia with digital capability for patients, clinicians, and staff. Projects range from electronic medical records, patient portals, identity, and access management through to core medical systems upgrade and integration. In support of the transformation portfolio activity, and we are looking for a Project Accountant.  This role reports to a Project Finance Lead and will be responsible for proactive, accurate and timely maintenance of portfolio financials using various tools.  This role would be ideal for an assistant accountant who wants to broaden their experience in project finance.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

Essential Criteria

• Experience with project finance related processes, including invoicing, project codes, GL accounts, journals/accruals, budgets/forecasts/actuals, month-end reporting and variance reporting. Project or Finance related background.
• Knowledge of project and/or financial management tools or systems.
• A well organised, deadline driven approach to work.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy in work output.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent collaboration skills and proven ability to work in both a team environment and autonomously.
• Adaptable and resilient.
• Great problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new methods and approaches.
• Continuously seek out process improvement opportunities.
• Ability to plan and coordinate workload with competing priorities.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service focus.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
