A wonderful opportunity exists for an experienced Electrophysiology Technician to work on a casual or permanent part-time basis in our Angiography Suite at Joondalup Health Campus (JHC).

About the Role

Cardiac Electrophysiology is a new service commencing July 2025 at JHC. Working with two Electrophysiology Cardiologists to deliver a range of ablation procedures to the patient cohort treated at JHC.

As an Electrophysiology Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our Angiography Suite, which will involve, but is not limited to:

• Operating physiological monitoring system GE Combo Lab for electrophysiology cases
• Interpreting / measuring ECGs, cardiac pressures, cardiac outputs & oxygen saturation
• Ensuring the maintenance of EP stock levels
• Well developed written & oral communication skills including advanced computer literacy
• When required, undertaking all aspects of haemodynamic monitoring for both cardiology and vascular procedures.

Flexibility to be available for oncall and variability to shifts.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong passion for providing quality, patient-focused care. Your excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are critical to this role.

Successful candidates will also meet the following criteria: 

• Bachelor of Science or Applied Science
• Advanced knowledge of ECG recording and interpretation
• Experienced in all aspects of electrophysiological monitoring
• Proven ability to work in a team environment and independently
• Advanced level of computer literacy. 

Candidates who meet the following criteria will be highly regarded:

• International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or Cardiac Electrophysiology Institute of Australasia (CEPIA) qualifications
• Extensive experience in electrophysiological studies.
