Digital Literacies Coordinator in Harrisonburg
James Madison University invites applicants for the position of Digital Literacies Coordinator. This is a full-time, 10-month Instructional Faculty position within the University Writing Center (UWC), a program in the Learning Centers (LC). The position is a renewable term appointment at the rank of lecturer. The Digital Literacies Coordinator will report to the LC Associate Director who oversees the University Writing Center and work on a team with two additional Writing Center faculty members. Responsibilities include teaching, writing consulting, faculty/curriculum development, unit-wide service activities, and professional development. The Digital Literacies Coordinator will be responsible for supporting two main initiatives in the UWC: multimodal composition and writing center assessment. Specific duties and responsibilities are described below. The Learning Centers unit consists of five programs that support students’ academic success: the University Writing Center, Communication Center, Multilingual Student Services, Peer Assisted Study Sessions, and Science & Math Learning Center, all housed in a 14,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility in the center of JMU’s campus. The unit’s 14 faculty members teach in 10 different disciplines, provide instruction in the LC, engage in relevant scholarship and professional development, administer programs, and train and mentor more than 100 peer educators. The LC is supported by a team of two administrative staff members, a Senior Associate Director, and an Executive Director, providing exceptional support for each of the programs and faculty members. The unit reports to the Vice Provost for Student Academic Success. Over the last three years, the unit has devoted extra attention to fostering inclusive excellence within the Learning Centers. James Madison University Occupational Therapy Clinical Education Services (OTCES) is accepting applications on a continual basis for part-time OT positions in our pediatric outpatient therapy clinic. OTCES hires from the Occupational Therapist Pool on an "as needed" basis depending on departmental needs. Applicants of interest will be contacted as positions become available. Schedule may flex from 2 to 29 hours per week, depending on client caseload and applicants' availability. These are part-time wage positions with no benefits that cannot exceed 1,500 hours over the course of a calendar year.

Disbursements Coordinator in Harrisonburg
The University Business Office (UBO) at James Madison University is accepting applications for a Disbursements Coordinator. The University Business Office is responsible for processing all charges and payments on student accounts. The office works closely with students and families; UBO coordinates billing, payment plans, and collections efforts for the university. The Disbursements Coordinator will work closely with various members of JMU's Financial Aid Office to post financial aid funds to student accounts, process student refunds, coordinate returns for financial aid funds, and manage invoice/billing requests from third parties. The Disbursements Coordinator will also help support the Veterans Affairs Coordinator in the University Business Office.

The Fiscal Technician will provide financial management and office support to the department, which includes professional staff, Graduate Assistants, and undergraduate student employees. This position will work alongside another Fiscal Technician and reports to the Fiscal Manager for Student Life. The primary purpose of this Fiscal Technician position is to provide fiscal support and guidance to the Front End Budgeted (FEB) student organizations. This position will have consistent interaction with students to assist them with developing and maintaining their organization's budgets, and to assist with the logistics of their organization's programming. A desire to work closely with students while providing quality administrative support is vital to this position.

The Director of Global Learning and Partnerships at the Center for Global Engagement (CGE) is responsible for advancing the university's internationalization efforts. This role includes coordinating curriculum internationalization, supporting faculty in developing global programs, and fostering strategic global partnerships. The Director also oversees the assessment of global learning initiatives, facilitates international research collaborations, and serves as a key liaison between the university and global partners. The position requires a doctoral degree, strong intercultural communication skills, knowledge of the field of international education, and experience in curriculum internationalization and global partnership development. Work location is primarily on-campus, with periodic travel and remote work.
