    CDR Communications Assistant in Not Remote

    This student position is a part of the CDR communications team and reports to the CDR Communications & Training Coordinator. The Center for Dairy Research (CDR) works for dairy farmers and supports the dairy industry through technical support, research and training. We are the largest of six dairy research centers in the United States, and focus on cheese, specialty cheese, cultured products, yogurt, dairy powders and butter. Each year we conduct around 40 short course training sessions and 70 industry tours, visits and meetings; participate in about 15 community engagements and host three annual industry events. The communications team supports all groups within CDR working toward our common mission.This student position includes a variety of responsibilities, including engagement with a variety of staff and customers, participation in the set-up and execution of visits, tours, training sessions and events, along with electronic documentation, and assistance with photos, videos, written text and images for various applications.
