Texas is growing and we need you on our LCRA team as a Senior Regulatory Case Manager! As a part of LCRA’s Regulatory team, your expertise will contribute to developing and certificating new high voltage transmission line projects integral to Texas’ growing need for electricity to enhance the quality of life of the Texans we serve. You are someone with authoritative knowledge of transmission line routing, public involvement and certification processes and can provide hands on leadership for large-scale projects involving multi-functional project teams. Our ideal candidate will have proven experience managing the entire CCN process for new transmission lines including representing utilities and their projects as an expert witness in contested case hearings and before the PUC. You will be trusted to:

- Manage the routing, public involvement, CCN application preparation, stakeholder notice, and
contested case process for new electric transmission line projects at the PUC.
- Provide expert testimony in transmission line CCN contested case proceedings.
- Manage other PUC compliance related projects, reporting and rulemaking activities.
- In conjunction with management and internal/external attorneys, develops LCRA advocacy and strategy positions for transmission projects.
- Develop, manage, and implement strategic plans for communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders relative to proposed new transmission line projects.

You qualify with:

- Nine or more years of experience working with utility regulatory processes in fields such as regulatory affairs, finance, information technology/security, project management or law or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in business, economics, science, finance, accounting, public policy, law, mathematics or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license

You are a great fit with:

- Experience managing the routing, certification (CCN) and public involvement processes for new high voltage transmission line projects in Texas.
- Experience providing written and verbal testimony in contested case hearings involving proposed new electric transmission line projects in Texas.
- Experiencing working with a variety of stakeholders to develop proposed transmission line routing and substation alternatives that adhere to PUC rules and siting criteria outlined in the Public Utility Regulatory Act.
