With a five-year transmission capital plan of nearly $4 billion, and unprecedented growth in our wholesale power service territory in Central Texas, LCRA (and LCRA TSC) seeks a motivated and detail-oriented mid-level real estate attorney! Our ideal candidate will have 8+ years experience, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and experience with real estate development. You will be trusted to:

- Draft, review, analyze, and negotiate various real estate documents, including acquisition agreements, development agreements, leases and easements, with minimal oversight.
- Coordinate and conduct due diligence reviews and closings of complex real estate transactions.
- Identify and provide direction on a range of real estate and land development issues such as permitting, governmental regulations, and title and survey issues.
- Work closely with the real estate management team to address interpretation issues related to existing agreements and the management of relations with landowners, including the resolution of claims.
- Direct support staff to help achieve creative, team-driven solutions to legal matters.
- Direct and coordinate work of outside counsel as required.
- Support other attorneys in defending or prosecuting lawsuits related to real estate matters, including eminent domain proceedings.

You qualify with:

- Juris Doctor plus eight or more years of relevant experience practicing law as a licensed attorney in the relevant practice area.  
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Texas
