Energetic and passionate group seeks to add an additional member to their reliability engineering team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of our electrical transmission systems. As a Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring and enhancing the reliability of our substation transmission infrastructure, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and developing strategies to improve overall system performance. Associate Engineer: BS Engineering without Texas PE License Engineer: Texas PE License
You will be trusted to:
System Monitoring and Analysis: - Continuously monitor the performance and reliability of the transmission substation equipment. - Analyze data and reports related to equipment, outages, and incidents to identify trends and areas for improvement. - Implement condition-based monitoring and predictive maintenance strategies to prevent failures. Reliability Assessment: - Conduct reliability assessments to identify vulnerabilities and risks in the transmission network. Maintenance Planning: - Work closely with maintenance teams to plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities. - Develop maintenance procedures and optimize maintenance intervals to ensure equipment reliability. Failure Analysis: - Investigate and analyze equipment failures or incidents to determine root causes. - Develop and implement corrective actions and preventive measures to reduce the likelihood of future failures. Asset Management: - Maintain an inventory of critical transmission assets. - Develop strategies to extend the life of assets and optimize their performance Risk Mitigation: - Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks associated with extreme weather conditions, cyber threats, and other potential disruptions. Collaboration: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and construction, to achieve reliability goals. Continuous Improvement: - Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop innovative solutions to enhance system reliability. Group Dynamics: - Hybrid Remote and Office Schedule -Work closely with a team of 5 Engineers day-to-day, collaborating, socializing, eating lunch together and working towards making LCRA a premier public power provider while having fun along the way.
You qualify with:
- Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas - Driver's license
You are a great fit with:
