Organizational Change Management Intern

LCRA’s Strategy team is looking for a student who is motivated and passionate about Organizational Change Management and wants real-word experience contributing to the execution of organizational transformation initiatives! This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in change management practices, stakeholder engagement, and communication strategies within a dynamic and collaborative environment.

As a Change Management Intern, you will assist in planning, developing, and executing change strategies that help drive adoption of new processes, technologies, and organizational changes. You’ll work closely with our Change Manager, as well as other cross-functional teams, and contribute to real-world projects that impact the way our organization evolves and adapts.

Position will run full-time over the summer. Start and end dates are negotiable.

You will be trusted to:

- Support the development and execution of change management plans, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Assist in creating presentations and other communication materials.
- Help track and analyze feedback from impacted stakeholders.
- Participate in meetings and workshops to capture notes and action items.
- Conduct research on change management best practices and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.

You qualify with:

- Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent.
- Must be currently enrolled in an accredited university/college program in sophomore year or has completed sophomore year and will be starting junior year.

You are a great fit with:

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Psychology, Business Administration, Human Resources, Communications, or a related field.
- Eagerness to learn about change management methodologies (e.g., ADKAR, 5 Tenets of Change, Prosci’s 3-Phase Approach).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team settings and across departments.
- Comfortable engaging with stakeholders at different levels of the organization.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content for various audiences.
- Open to feedback and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerPoint, Excel, and Word).
- Familiarity with collaboration tools like SharePoint, Teams, or Asana is a plus.
