We are looking for a hands-on Full-Stack Engineering Technical Lead / Senior Software Engineer who’s ready to take the next step in their career. This role blends technical leadership with governance, capability uplift, and delivery ownership, while remaining embedded in a squad.
You’ll play a key role in driving best practice across engineering, contributing to audit and governance processes, and working closely with leaders to uplift capability and manage resources effectively.
About the Role
In this role, you will lead and develop a team of engineers while working closely with cross-functional squads to deliver low-latency platforms and innovative digital solutions. You will play a key role in building strong engineering practices, enabling continuous delivery, and fostering a culture of quality, collaboration, and technical excellence.
You will also partner with stakeholders across technology, product, and delivery teams to ensure engineering work aligns with strategic roadmaps and organisational standards.
What You’ll Do
- Participate in audit and assurance processes, ensuring strong governance and compliance
- Collaborate with multiple teams on engineering governance, processes, and standards
- Champion and embed engineering best practices across squads
- Drive capability uplift for engineers and contractors
- Work closely with leaders on resource planning and management
- Remain hands-on as an active member of a delivery squad
- Provide contractor administration support, including capability uplift, timesheet approvals, and invoice processing
About You
- An experienced Software Engineer or Tech Lead looking to step into broader leadership and influence
- Comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with governance and people-focused responsibilities
- Passionate about engineering quality, standards, and continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills across technology and business teams
- Experience with resource planning and managing distributed teams or delivery partners
