We’re looking for an experienced Motor Performance Advisor to join our Motor Claims team in a permanent role based at Eagle Farm, Queensland. This role plays a critical part in delivering motor performance insights, supporting assessors and repairers, and ensuring high-quality repair outcomes that put customers first.
About the Role
As a Motor Performance Advisor, you will provide motor performance insights through a structured Assessor and Repairer Audit & Quality Assurance framework. You’ll partner closely with Motor Claims Assessors, Repairers, Managers and National Leaders, providing technical, system and performance support to achieve optimal repair quality, cost control and timeliness, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Reporting to the Motor Performance Manager, this role sits within Consumer Insurance – Motor Claims Customers and operates at Team Member level (Fixed Salary Band 4). We support flexible ways of working, where business needs permit.
More specifically, you will:
- Achieving Average Repair Cost (ARC) and Average Combined Cost targets
- Supporting decision-making for SPIRA repairers, Motor Claims Managers and Assessors to meet cost, quality, customer and timeliness outcomes
- Monitoring compliance across AudaNet, AudaBridge and E-Scribe
- Conducting Assessor and Repairer audits, including compliance with internal processes and the Suncorp Vehicle Repair Standard
- Coaching and developing Assessors through structured 1:1 audit feedback sessions
- Providing technical, system and delegation support to Assessors and Repairers
- Ensuring claims are managed efficiently and within required timeframes
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned to business plans
- Acting as a referral point for complex customer enquiries and complaints
- Delivering exceptional internal and external customer service
- Identifying, managing and escalating risks in line with industry codes of conduct
- Reviewing risks across internal and external operational environments
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring strong technical capability, sound judgement and a customer‑focused mindset.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Trade qualification as a Panel Beater, Spray Painter or Mechanic
Desirable Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Vehicle Loss Assessing
Experience & Capability:
- Demonstrated expertise in vehicle loss adjusting and estimating
- Extensive quoting and estimating experience
- Advanced customer management capability
- Proven ability to coach, mentor and influence others
- Advanced vehicle damage assessment and estimating skills using Methods Based Assessing & Repair
- Strong understanding of State, Federal and Insurance Codes of Conduct
- Detailed working knowledge of ClaimCenter, AudaNet, AudaBridge and E‑Scribe
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution, negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to identify trends, manage priorities and make informed decisions with minimal supervision
- A collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively in team environments
