We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our Consumer Insurance team in New Zealand as a Product Specialist. This is your opportunity to make a real impact by supporting the development, management, and continuous improvement of Suncorp’s Consumer insurance products ensuring they remain competitive, compliant, and aligned with customer and business needs.
What You’ll Do
- Support the design, enhancement, and lifecycle management of Consumer insurance products to ensure they remain competitive, compliant, and profitable.
- Collaborate with Underwriting, Risk, Legal, and operational teams to meet governance and compliance requirements.
- Maintain and improve systems, processes, and documentation for efficient product management.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent customer outcomes.
- Assist in executing product strategy and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You
- Previous experience in general insurance product development is highly desirable.
- Tertiary qualification in business or finance is desirable.
- Strong understanding of insurance products, market trends, regulatory frameworks, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Commercially minded, detail-oriented, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional customer outcomes.
