Procurement Analyst

We’re continuing to build our procurement capability to support our business in attracting, retaining and growing value with our service providers. Our suppliers are a key part of Suncorp’s success as they help us deliver great customer outcomes today and in the future.

You will be supporting our Procurement Category Advisors with the identification, sourcing and management of our contracts.

What you will be doing: 

• Work alongside our Procurement Category Advisers to manage and fulfil the procurement demand pipeline for defined lines of business, categories and associated internal customers;
• Gain sourcing experience by supporting business stakeholders to manage the procurement of low risk / lower value goods & services;
• Support the Category Advisors with supply demand, spend or proposed value analysis;
• Contribute to procurement’s capability growth through delivering continuous improvements to the ways we work.

• You’ll have the capacity and desire to grow. You’ll be expected to learn and apply skills in business requirement gathering, financial analysis, contract law, risk management, process development & improvement, negotiation, written and verbal communication.
