This role will be working across the Brighton, Bayside, Port Melbourne and Knox Councils, an operational vehicle will be provided. As the Leading Hand you will be responsible for the inspection of drainage assets, as well as litter collection, coordination of maintenance works, and data collection. As a frontline leader you will have two direct reports, and you will take care of your own and colleagues Health and Safety through identification and reporting of hazards and active involvement in improvement initiatives.

As the Principal Planner you will be responsible for leading for leading and coordinating the implementation of Melbourne Water’s flood modelling into Council planning schemes. The role will use mobile devices, iPad, mobile phone and GPS for navigation, data collection and recording and resolving work orders. Due to the vast geographical area covered within the role an operational vehicle will be provided.

This part time (2.5 days a week) role is based from our 990 La Trobe Street head office in Docklands, with one day in the office, and one day working from home.
