The Senior Business Banking Manager, Franchise role involves strategic planning for key brands and clients within the state of Queensland, including client engagement, origination of new transactions, collaborating with other team members and maintaining a sustainable risk position in relation to key brands and the client set
The role and day to day will include:
- Overall accountability for building client advocacy and originating NTB transactions in the Queensland Franchise market across key brands in industries such as QSR, Services, Accommodation, etc.
- Accountable for financial performance of the client set, including pipeline management, account planning and origination.
- Strong business development skills are key in the Franchise area
- Raising the profile of NAB in the marketplace.
- Raising the profile of Franchise Banking across the broader enterprise.
- Contribute to the strategic direction of business sub sector.
- Jointly accountable with the Debt Servicing & Execution team for the credit risk quality of the client set
What you will bring:
- Knowledge and experience of lending processes and credit experience
- Speaks clearly about the importance of the customer; fosters a sense of urgency toward customer needs
- Understands the symbiotic relationship between Franchisors and Franchisees and manages the client relationship in a way that is positive for all
- Strong Analytical and Credit Skills
- Originating & structuring of complex cash flow lending transactions
- Experience in Franchise finance (preferred)
