As a Head of, you will join the Internal Audit team that’s focused on winning together.
In this Head of role, you will work closely with delivery teams, develop next generation audit practices to maintain a best-in-class global internal audit function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Audit Methodology and Innovation:
• Enhance and modernize the Internal Audit methodology to reflect leading practices and emerging risks.
• Drive innovation to improve audit efficiency, effectiveness, and insight generation through the integration of Generative AI, machine learning, and advanced analytics into audit programs.
- Quality Assurance and Improvement Program (QAIP)
• Lead a robust QAIP to ensure audit accuracy, completeness, and compliance with professional standards, identifying training needs and deliver capability-building programs for auditors
• Conduct and oversee periodic internal reviews and support external assessments.
- Reporting and Governance:
• Provide regular updates to the Chief Audit Executive and Board Audit Committee on QAIP outcomes and key performance metrics.
• Develop monitoring and performance frameworks over audit health and performance, including budgets and resource utilisation and audit documentation and knowledge assets
- General Duties:
• Collaborate with Compliance and Risk Management to promote a strong risk culture.
• Participate in special projects and respond to ad-hoc requests from leadership.
What you will bring
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to clearly convey expectations and influence improved outcomes.
• Demonstrated capability to lead change, influence executive stakeholders and foster a positive team culture of continuous improvement
• Practical knowledge of Internal Audit or Risk with experience in delivery management and Quality Assurance Programs.
• Ability to think critically and excellent understanding of data analysis techniques
• Significant breadth of experience in risk, consulting or internal auditing, leading international audit teams preferred but not essential.
• Deep knowledge of IIA Standards, regulatory expectations for financial services, and audit methodologies.
• Familiarity with emerging AI audit technologies.
• Innovative thinker who can balance compliance requirements with pragmatic real-world solutions Self-driven, ability to work independently and in a team environment.
