The Project

The Riverina Redevelopment Joint Venture (RRJV) is a 50/50 joint venture between CPB Contractors and Downer, delivering a major $1.7 billion Defence redevelopment program to support Defence capability for the next 30 years.

This role is based in Albury-Wodonga, NSW.

Key works include:

  • Construction of new messing and living-in accommodation
  • Delivery of new training facilities
  • Refurbishment and upgrade of existing buildings
  • Remedial works and upgrades to essential infrastructure services

Your Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Contracts Administrator to join our high-performing commercial and project delivery team in Albury-Wodonga.

In this role, you will support the successful commercial delivery of works by managing subcontractor agreements, cost controls, progress claims, variations and reporting—while working closely with Project Engineers, Project Managers and the broader site team to achieve safety, cost, quality and schedule outcomes.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively support a strong safety culture and ensure commercial processes align with project and legislative requirements
  • Assist with procurement, subcontractor engagement and contract administration activities
  • Prepare, assess and manage subcontractor progress claims, variations and final accounts
  • Support cost tracking, forecasting and monthly reporting
  • Maintain accurate contract records, correspondence and documentation
  • Assist in the administration of head contract obligations, including notices and commercial compliance
  • Work collaboratively with the delivery team to support project targets and outcomes

 

About You

You will bring:

  • A qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Commerce or a related discipline
  • Experience in a Contracts Administrator or commercial support role within construction or infrastructure projects
  • Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required, with eligibility to obtain and maintain Baseline Security Clearance.
  • Knowledge of subcontract administration, cost control and commercial processes
  • Strong attention to detail with high-quality written and numerical skills
  • The ability to build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders

(Experienced candidates with Defence, building, or large-scale infrastructure exposure will be highly regarded.)
