The Opportunity

Exciting 12 month opportunity to become a Library Systems Project Librarian within our Monash University Library department. Be part of the Library Systems and Alma Library Services Platform team to deliver a sustainable permissions framework to assist with management and access to library systems in line with the University’s enterprise-wide system governance protocols. 

The Librarian will implement processes to build integrity and quality into system workflows to improve the effectiveness of Library systems and processes. As well as initiating and administering projects under direction, provides training and guidance to Library team members in the application of those projects, as well as analysing and resolving complex issues.

To be successful in this role, you’ll need a proven ability to deliver engaging programs, resources, and digital services, along with strong organisational, presentation, and IT skills. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities are essential to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
